Shareholders may submit a list of persons authorized to use their Co-op apartment who may include partners, family members or close friends , providing the House Rules Committee Chair interviews those persons prior to their guest taking occupancy. If any guest has not been interviewed by the House Rules Chairman, Then the shareholder(s) of the record must submit FORM HR-3 APARTMENT OCCUPANCY DURING SHAREHOLDERS ABSENCE each and every time that guest occupies an apartment in the absence of the shareholder.
The shareholder will be subject to a fee equivalent to the established rental registration fee for a long-term rental, defined as a rental over 45 days, if there is usage of the Co-op unit by guests in the absence of the shareholder for more than a total of 20 days.
